Hydrafacial Review with Bare Med Spa

Ever since I started blogging on top of my full time job, not that I am complaining, I have completely pushed taking care of myself under the rug.  That is why I chose to take better care of myself as my new years resolution.  I think it is important to be able to take a break for mental health and hit the pause button. I am so excited to partner with Bare Med Spa and share with you my latest hydrafacial experience with them!

From the minute I walked into Bare Med Spa, I was treated like a princess! The waiting area was so glam and chic, I wouldn’t mind decorating my home like this!  The staff was so friendly and inviting. They offered me champagne or wine while I waited and filled out forms about my general health and medications.  They were so helpful in answering any questions I had regarding the paperwork.  As sort of an aesthetic amateur, I chose to try the hydrafacial.

HYDRAFACIAL BREAKDOWN

Hydrafacials are good for any skin type.  They are used to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, tighten pores, lighten and brighten skin, reduce hyper-pigmentation, acne and oily skin.  Hydrafacials are basically like power-washing your skin while adding a multivitamin to it.  Our skin gets exposed to free radicals and pollutants the moment we step outside, so it is important to deeply cleanse and protect against it.

Hydrafacials involve a step by step process to cleanse, evenly exfoliate and extract to remove impurities and dead skin cells while at the same time replenishing vital nutrients including Antioxidants, Peptides and Hyaluronic Acid. It feels like a cool wet suction on your face.  You can feel and see results immediately after.  These effects last for a week or two and many people get hydrafacials monthly.

VERDICT

You guys know the “beautified” filter on snapchat?  That is how I felt like when I left.  My skin actually felt lighter, and it was actually visibly brighter!  My cheeks felt like silk and I couldn’t stop touching my face.  My boyfriend even noticed when I got home.  He told me my skin was “glowing.” And, no I didn’t coach him on what to say, haha! The verdict is I will definitely be visiting Bare Med Spa again and asking for a hydrafacial!  It was so nice to hit the pause button, relax, and take care of my skin!

I would love to hear about your favorite treatments that you have tried!  Leave your thoughts in the comments below.  I’m always wanting to learn more about skincare!

xo,

Heather

You’ve been a fashionista since infancy ? People stopped us on the streets in the French Quarter to comment!! Having been “on the town” with you, I can attest to the head turning effect you have on the public.

Keep up the shopping and knock ’em dead!!
